D02 Beijing

Full day tour includes Great Wall (Badaling Section), which was built in 770-475 B.C., climbing on top of 2484 miles long Great Wall is really amazing.  Summer Palace, the summer-residence of the former emperors with one of the biggest and best preserved gardens in China.  Visit a pearl factory en route and experience 45 mins of Foot Massage afterwards

D03 Beijing

Breakfast at hotel  

Visit Tiananmen Square, where the Mao’s Mausoleum and the Congress Hall are located; and  followed by Forbidden City, with the emperors palace in the heart of Beijing (So called because it was off limits for 500 years, covering an area of 250 acres, protected by an 10.7m high wall, marked off by towers at each corner)  

Lunch at local restaurant  

Visit Hutongs, lanes or Alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan (a compound of houses around a courtyard) where old Beijing residents live, witness the vicissitude of the city by a trishaw

D04 Beijing / Hangzhou

D05 Hangzhou

Boat trip on the West Lake, to enjoy the placid lake, beautiful gardens, reflecting pools, lavish temples and friendly lakeside teahouse.  

Lunch at local restaurant  

Visit Ling Yin Temple, built in 326. It ranks among China’s most celebrated Buddhist temples and is worth visiting, due to war and calamity it has been destroyed and restored no fewer than 16 times, then visit to the Six Harmonies Pagoda that has not been destroyed during the cultural revolution as it is located dangerously close to an enormous rail-and road-bridge.

D06 Hangzhou/ Shanghai

Breakfast at hotel  

Transfer from hotel to train station for train to Shanghai 

Lunch at local restaurant  

Visit Yuyuan Garden, with history of more than 400 years and decorated with masterpieces of architecture.  Afterwards, take a walk along the riverside at famous The Bund.

D07 Shanghai/ Xian

Breakfast at hotel  

Visit Jade Buddha Temple, which houses a 2M high sitting white Jade Buddha, lunch at local restaurant.

Transfer to airport for flight to Xian, arrival Xian then transfer to hotel.

Evening Tang Dynasty Show with dancers who are dressed in tradition costumes and performing dances of the Tang Dynasty.

D08 Xian

Full day tour includes Terracotta Warriors with more than 6000 life-sized terracotta figures of soldiers and horses in perfect battle array are showing the superb sculptural art of that time.  Lunch at local restaurant and followed by visit to Wild Goose Pagoda

D09 Xian/ Guilin

City tour and see the Old City Wall, Cultural Street and Chinese Medicine and Herbs Free Market with lunch.

Transfer to airport for flight to Guilin, arrive Guilin then transfer to hotel

D10 Guilin/Yangshuo/Guilin

Breakfast at hotel  

Cruising on Li River to Yangshuo, passes extraordinary peaks, sprays of bamboo lining, riverbanks, fishers in small boats and picturesque villages. Lunch at local restaurant after disembarkation. 

Transfer back to Guilin and visit one of the most extraordinary sceneries, which is underground – the Reed Flute Cave with it’s multicoloured lighting and fantastic stalactites and stalagmites.  Afterwards, further visit to Elephant Trunk Hill for its strange rock-formations.

D11 Guilin / Guangzhou / Hong Kong

Transfer to airport for flight to Guangzhou  

Arrival Guangzhou and followed by a city tour includes Chan’s Ancestor Temple and Nanyue Museum. Afterwards, walking through the old street in Shamian Island where you can see what’s left behind from the olden days with those colonial style English and French architectures. 

Transfer to train station for train to Hong Kong
